Lighthouse

This is a picture of the lighthouse in Frankfort Michigan.  When I lived in Michigan my friend Curt and I would visit the lighthouse quite often.

Good morning

 I start my day off with reading the bible and prayer. Great way to start a new day.

Wait

 Lord help me to wait on you.

Nothing

That's right there is nothing or no one that can separate me from the love of God. No matter how many people dislike me. God will still love me. I cannot please everyone. There will always be people that will dislike me for some reason. I cannot worry about them. I need to live for the Lord and please him not other people.

 

Everlasting

 The Lord loves us with an everlasting love. He loved us enough to die for us. Of course he was resurrected. This is what Easter is all about. Sometimes, it is referred to as resurrection day. I found a new artist. Her name is Emily Seilhammer. She paints a lot of Christian art. I am posting one of her paintings below.

It's not about the bunny

"The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." Matthew 28:5-6

Easter or Resurrection Sunday is about Jesus. I am not sure where the bunny came into the picture. 

Peace

Thank you Lord for your peace.

 

Strength

 The Lord gives us strength through prayer, reading his word and through hearing his message. Being in an assisted living facility it is hard to get out and go to church but they bring the church here. I also listen to my church back home on the phone.

Safe

 I pray that the Lord will keep all of us safe. Especially our American troops over in Iran. Please keep praying for the families that have lost loved ones.

Pray

 We need to pray for our soldiers over in Iran. That they will come home safely. 

Wait

 I just need to wait on The Lord. I try to do things to fast sometimes. I talk fast, I eat fast. I don't move to fast because I have a really slow-moving wheelchair. It is hard for me to get that thing to move faster than one mile per hour. No, I do not want an electric chair. 

Seek the Lord

"But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul." Deuteronomy 4:29

Pray for our troops in Iran.

 

Don't be Afraid

 There is no reason to be afraid when you know the Lord. He is always there. All we need to do is pray and read his word the Bible. If you don't know The Lord just follow his word.

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38-39

Peace

 With the war going on in Iran. All we can do is pray for the safety of our troops and the war will be over soon.
